A Strong Faith CommunityAt the DLA, we believe a stronger, more connected community comes from strong values and moral principles. We are committed to nurturing the whole child, fostering both academic excellence and spiritual growth through the teachings and example of Jesus Christ. Our students not only build knowledge of the Catholic faith, but also develop strong character, learning to apply their faith in meaningful ways throughout their daily lives. We take pride in their accomplishments, but even more, we find joy in witnessing their journey of faith, service and leadership.

Students are surrounded by elements of Catholic identity, including custom murals and other Catholic art and relics in the halls and classrooms. These provide visual reminders of the faith and help guide moments of intentional prayer throughout the day.
Religion is part of the curriculum like any other subject. Tailored to each grade level, teachers make sure the content helps students deepen their understanding of Catholic traditions, teaching and scripture, while also deepening their relationship with Christ.
Starting in 5th grade, students also enjoy time as Altar Servers at Mass as well as readers.
Our staff helps guide and support students as they prepare for First Communion and Confirmation. This past school year, we had 26 students who received the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. We also have many students and staff decide to enter the Church, and we are happy to accompany anyone who is interested in exploring the sacrament of Baptism as well.
Dual Language Academy students actively live out their faith as they participate in meaningful service learning projects all year long. One that we especially enjoy is our ongoing partnership with UNBOUND, and our connection with those students in other parts of the world.

In today’s fast-paced and often uncertain world, a faith-based education offers a foundation of stability, integrity and hope. Our school strives to provide an environment that encourages meaningful connections built on shared values and mutual support.
