Welcome! We are so excited that you are considering joining us at the Dual Language Academy, Omaha’s only Catholic dual language elementary school where students grow in faith, knowledge and two languages—English and Spanish. We understand how important it is to find a school that aligns with your family’s values and supports your child’s unique learning journey. Our dual language model helps students become bilingual, biliterate and bicultural, preparing them to thrive in a diverse and interconnected world. Let us help you schedule your tour so that you can find out more about our unique curriculum, faculty, administration, activities and community. |
If you haven’t already, begin by completing our Inquiry Form. This helps us get to know your family and provide personalized communication based on your child’s age and needs.
We do want to note that due to our specific curriculum, we are unable to accept transfer students after 1st grade, regardless of their native language. The only exceptions to our transfer rule are students who were previously enrolled in another dual language program.
We encourage all prospective families to visit our school. Tours are available in English and Spanish and offer the chance to see our classrooms in action, meet our bilingual educators and learn more about our faith-based, dual language curriculum.
Since there is a large amount of interest in our school, we only give tours the year before a student would enroll. We are working on hosting larger events in the future for younger families who are starting their school search earlier so they can tour our school to make sure it is the right fit for their student.
Enroll at the Dual Language Academy! We use FACTS online portal for the admissions process, where you will create an account, register your student(s) and submit registration fee. Application information will be sent to families once they have toured, and the staff and family agrees that the school is the right fit. Alexia Flores in the school office will send out applications.
Enrollment opens to new families February 2026.
